Champions League Draw Results 2010 – 2011

arsenal spurs

Spurs and Arsenal will be looking to battle through the group stages, alongside Chelsea and Manchester United. American star Maurice Edu will be in the draw too…

The draw to decide the fate of the remaining 32 teams in the Champions League took place in Monaco on Thursday August 26 at 5pm GMT.

Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Manchester United represent the English Premier League (EPL).

American star Maurice Edu will be in the draw too, playing as he does for Glasgow Rangers in Scotland. But where will he have to travel this season?

Reaction after the draw

Well, Mr Edu won’t have far to go at all. From Rangers in Scotland to… Manchester United in England! A Battle of Britain is on the cards.

Arsenal striker Eduardo could play home and away against his former employers at Shakhtar Donetsk, while the teams in Group G have only won the European Cup / Champions League 20 times between. Should be a cinch for former Intertoto Cup winners AJ Auxerre.
