Michael Jackson Thriller with Mr Bean Dance Off
Stop-motion animator brings together fans’ favourite celebs in epic short.
Michael Jackson – singer, songwriter, dancer, icon, robot mech fighter?
Five months after the death of the enigmatic King of Pop, the fascination with Michael Jackson continues. Questions about his tragic demise, his lifestyle, finances and child abuse allegations will remain largely unanswered.
One question that will not go unanswered however, is how the moonwalking twinkle toes would fare in a dance off with comic slapstick hero Mr Bean. More importantly, what would happen if said dance off escalated into a full-on mech fight as both Jackson and Bean get suited up District 9 style.
Stop-motion animator master Patrick Boivin has produced a stunning video showcasing the talents of bumbling idiot Mr Bean and super-smooth criminal Wacko Jacko. The latest short film is the result of an online poll posted by French-Canadian Boivin which asked fans to vote for who they’d most like to see in a dance off.
After 100,000 votes, Jackson and Bean were the clear winners. Boivin has also turned his considerable talent in stop-motion to bringing the dancing spectacle of the BBoy Batman vs the Joker in a classic YouTube game, along with interesting match ups between Bruce Lee and Iron Man, and Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.
Michael Jackson’s overly hyped gratuitous money-spinner This Is It became the second largest grossing documentary film of all time in the UK as the initial week’s release brought in £4.88 million. If the film makes an additional £2 million in total, it will eclipse Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 9/11 to become the highest earning documentary ever.

You are so good at dancing. Did you die? Please say no, unless it is true that you did pass away from a heart attack. I shall pray for you always. You’re awesome! We all love you very much!
