Singer Rihanna hit by nude photo leaks.
Chart-topping singer Rihanna was devastated and “freaking out” when she saw nude pictures of herself posted on the Internet.
The News of the World reported that the 21-year-old singer, famous for hits such as Umbrella, has fled to Hawaii in a bid to escape the media storm that has come with the photos.
The photos in question show a scantily-clad woman posing in a mirror. Two photos allegedly show the star’s bare behind, but another of the photos is much more explicit. However, the woman’s face is only partially visible, making it difficult to ascertain if it really is Rihanna.
Rihanna and Chris Brown hit the headlines earlier this year after Brown was accused of assaulting Rihanna. Mr Brown is still facing criminal charges in light of the allegations.
Brown has quickly hit back at rumours suggesting that he may have leaked the pictures himself, a representative told Essence.com: “This is both a false and defamatory statement. Chris has not released or ‘leaked’ any photos of Rihanna (or anyone else for that matter).”
One of Rihanna’s friends told the News of the World: “She is freaking out. She was on the road to recovery after a terrible few months. She has no idea how these pictures have been leaked but she’s determined to find out. She’s rushed off to Hawaii to escape the scrutiny.”
Island Def Jam, Rihanna’s record label, have sent letters to websites requesting that the pictures be removed, but as yet no one has actually confirmed or denied if the pictures are real.
Get it?
There is no need that for the journalist to spread rumours about celebs.
Rihanna deserved it.
