Sniper Kills 2 Taliban with 2 Bullets from 8,120 ft

Sniper Kills 2 Taliban with 2 Bullets from 8,120 ft

Extraordinary new sniper record for confirmed kills at distance.

2.5km, 2 shots, 2 dead Taliban – just 1 Sniper.

Super sniper Corporal Craig Harrison set a new world record for sniper kills after downing two al-Qaeda insurgents from over a mile and a half away at a distance of 8,120 feet.

The shots were from so far away that the bullets would have taken around three seconds to hit their target, despite travelling at nearly three times the speed of sound. Despite Cpl Harrison’s extreme distance, 3,000 feet (915 metres) outside of the weapon’s effective range, it took just two shots to kill two Taliban manning a machine gun post, and a further shot to render the insurgents’ weapon ineffective.

In Cpl Harrison’s own words: “The first round hit a machine gunner in the stomach and killed him outright. He went straight down and didn’t move. The second insurgent grabbed the weapon and turned as my second shot hit him in the side. He went down too. They were both dead,” reported Sky News.

The hero from the Household Cavalry was protecting his troop commander whose vehicle had come under heavy fire when it became trapped in Helmand Province. Cpl Harrison neutralised the threat of the machine gun single-handedly from an incredible distance which spanned 25 football pitches.

Weeks after the incredible incident, Cpl Harrison was caught in a roadside bomb which resulted in two broken arms. He was also shot in the head and narrowly escaped death after his helmet deflected the bullet away from his skull. Having spent six weeks in plaster back in the UK, the remarkable veteran insisted on returning to the front line.

If I could, I’d buy you a pint of beer to say, “Thanks”. Job well done!!

Here’s what’s wrong with our society, we CELEBRATE someone taking 2 lives as a great accomplishment?!

It’s not how many lives he took but how many more he saved by ridding this threat from killing multiple others. Let’s face it they were manning a machine gun nest. Those guns don’t shoot flowers.

      You are stupid.

Why are you putting him down, for killing someone who would kill you without batting an eye? I say he did what had to be done, to save others, including you idiots that put him down! Thank you!!!

God knows that we as His children will have differences in our outlook. For some, it’s national, some racial, some religious, some greed, some power, etc.

For some it’s Divine Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Gentleness, Faithfulness, and Self Control.

These are the Fruits of the Spirit.

Make your mind to offer the Fruits of the Spirit.

This is only the longest ‘confirmed’ kill, or longest ‘recorded’ kill.

I’ve met someone who I cannot name as he is in Black Ops, but he has apparently killed someone at 10,000 feet.

Though to confirm those kills you’d have to go to places where you aren’t allowed to – and those shots made a mess you don’t want to see.

Nonetheless – this man is an extremely good marksman and that is a bloody impressive shot. Well done I say.

    That’s the situation. Well done.
